Summary:
The Paralegal is responsible for assisting the Director of Legal Operations, General Counsel, and various counsel by performing a wide range of tasks related to real estate leasing, financing, purchasing and closing transactions. Draft various agreements and track/facilitate routing of various agreements between parties from initial draft, redline responses, final executed document, to final recording of documents in then public record. Perform general real estate diligence review functions for properties acquired, owned, or operated by the Company. Work closely with internal departments and teams to identify gaps in site documentation and work to resolve those gaps. Be able to multitask and excel in a fast paced, high-volume, high-energy environment.
Job Functions:
- Performing comprehensive title reviews by analyzing title commitments prepared by various title companies and identifying and resolving any potential issues with property titles.
- Coordinate and review surveys to final signed and sealed version in compliance with corporate and insurable standards.
- Draft a wide range of corporate and real estate documents in accordance with local and state requirements, and route for proper execution, witness and notary requirements.
- Preparing and revising legal documents such as purchase agreements, lease agreements, letters of intent, and mortgages
- Assist the Director of Legal Operations and finance by compiling necessary documents, coordinating with lenders, title companies, and other parties to ensure a smooth financing transaction. Track compliance with lender requirements on an ongoing basis
- Perform various administrative tasks such as daily mail for department, sending documents to offsite storage, scanning document and uploading the document management system.
- Audit all requisite real estate documentation prior to going to record and e-record where available.
- Audit and track receipt of all title policies for Company properties
- Provide general assistance to Legal Team and other departments relating to real estate issues and corporate needs.

Position will work directly from the corporate office with minimum travel.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a real estate paralegal
- Prefer paralegal certification or Certified Legal Assistant
- Prefer minimum 3 years’ experience in wireless communication or real estate industry
- Strong organization skills with strong understanding of commercial real estate law and legal principals
- Detailed oriented with high accuracy standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated mastery balancing multiple tasks in a fast-paced high energy environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication with supervisor, clients, colleagues, and vendors.
- Effective in an entrepreneurial culture, working independently and as part of a team.
