Position Summary

We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated Immigration Attorney to join our EOIR Removal Defense team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is eager to grow professionally, and is ready to make a meaningful impact on clients’ lives while leading their support team.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in EOIR Removal Defense.
• Assess relief eligibility and develop case strategy.
• Identify additional relief (family petitions, U-Visas, VAWA, TPS, TVPRA).
• Manage caseload of Affirmative Asylum & EOIR proceedings, including defensive asylum and TVPRA.
• Draft, review, and file petitions, motions, and briefs; approve filings before submission.
• Represent clients at Master, Individual, and contested hearings (in-person/virtual).
• Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings, declarations, and trial.
• Ensure deadlines are met and cases resolved promptly.
• Lead and mentor paralegals/legal assistants, providing accurate legal guidance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent case management and client service.

Location

Remote within Los Angeles, CA. Must attend in-person client meetings and court appearances in Los Angeles, Orange County, and surrounding areas.

Compensation & Benefits

The  annual range for this position is $90,000 - 145,000 USD annually.  In addition to a competitive base salary we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, uncapped paid time off, parental leave and Roth IRA. This position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. • Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state (CA preferred).
• 1–3 years of immigration law experience (Removal Defense/EOIR preferred).
• Experience with Master & Individual hearings strongly preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred, not required.
• Proficient in electronic case management.
• Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
