Join GEP’s global legal team and build your career as a Paralegal supporting corporate governance and legal operations. In this hybrid role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced legal department and work alongside our Senior Paralegal and Associate Paralegal on a range of global projects.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to develop skills in international entity management, legal tech systems, and high-level corporate work.
- Help organize and digitize global corporate records using tools like SharePoint, DocuSign, and Athennian (training provided).
- Maintain legal documents, lease records, and governance files across our global offices.
- Support notarizations, apostille requests, and obtain signatures from executives.
- Assist the legal team with corporate projects, such as entity formation, dissolutions, M&A, and compliance tracking.
- Provide backup support for our Senior and Associate Paralegals during busy periods or time off.
- Perform administrative tasks to keep our legal function running smoothly.
You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and excited to learn. Maybe you’ve worked in a law firm or corporate legal department and are now looking to deepen your experience in an in-house role with global exposure.
- 1+ year of paralegal or legal assistant experience
- Completion of a Paralegal Certificate Program (ABA-approved preferred)
- Familiarity with legal documents, filings, and file management practices
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Interest in corporate legal work and willingness to learn international entity management
- Bonus: Experience with Athennian or other entity management systems
- Bonus: Notary Public in New Jersey (or interest in becoming one)
