Job Description

Duties Functions as an Executive Assistant within the Executive Office of the Director of the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Washington, D.C. Acts as the Director's Office liaison to the BOP division, regions, and staff, as well as other government agencies and Congressional Staff. Monitors the flow of work in the Director's Office and maintains close liaison with each division of Central Office and the Regional Offices to facilitate the flow of information and to identify problems and important issues. Assists the Director in the responsibility for developing plans, programs, and top-level policies for the management of the Bureau of Prisons. Evaluates programs and operations in terms of meeting the overall objective of the BOP. Works with the Director and the Director's staff on Strategic Planning for the Bureau. Salary- $169,279 - $197,200/year
