Position Summary

As a Senior Family Law Attorney, you will take the lead in managing a full caseload of domestic relations matters from start to finish. This role is ideal for a seasoned attorney with at least 3 years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about family law. You will be responsible for client representation, developing litigation strategies, and courtroom advocacy, all while upholding the firm’s commitment to ethical practice and professional excellence. Additionally, you will serve as a key resource for paralegals and support staff, contributing to the overall success and quality of our family law practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage a full caseload of domestic relations matters, including divorce, child custody, and support cases.
• Develop and execute effective litigation strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
• Represent clients in court, mediations, and negotiations with professionalism and confidence.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to paralegals and support staff, ensuring high-quality work and collaboration.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, keeping them informed and engaged throughout their cases.
• Uphold the firm’s standards of client service, ethical practice, and professional excellence.
• Support the Managing Partner in maintaining the quality and profitability of the family law practice.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law in Georgia.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in family law, with a proven track record of handling domestic relations matters.
• Strong litigation and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines with efficiency and attention to detail.
• A collaborative mindset with a willingness to mentor and support team members.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethical practice.

Salary

• $110,000 - $125,000/hour
