
What You'll Do:
- Provides administrative support to an attorney and/or legal team in a fast-paced environment
- Assists with collections processes by managing documentation and correspondence related to account recovery efforts
- Tracks recoveries to ensure payments received and/or follow up with debtors when delinquent
- Performs administrative and fact-finding duties
- Reviews documents for basic information
- Prepares basic internal memoranda and routine correspondence
- Files documents, organizes, and maintains files, prepares indices with supervision
- Maintains and updates internal client lists to ensure accurate records
What You'll Bring:
- High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in legal studies or related field preferred
- 2-4 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Familiairty with legal terminology, court filings and basic legal procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with legal document management software a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
The pay range for this role is $47,425.00 - $63,200.00
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
