Job Description

UPDATE:::

Title associate with 1-4 years of experience to work with our title team.  They could be from a title agency or a real estate associate with a law firm.  The ideal candidate would focus on the review of title searches for complex commercial properties to identify and resolve title and development issues.  Review title searches for complex commercial properties, research and resolve title issues and review commercial ALTA surveys. Correspond with County officials in various Counties to resolve and complete road and alley closures, PILOT Agreements, and zoning issues. Prepare and issue owner title commitments and policies. Prepare and issue title commitments and policies for lenders in multi-tiered real estate financing transactions. Determine the applicability of owner and lender endorsements. Prepare complex commercial settlement statements with multiple sources of real estate financing. Prepare required seller and buyer title company documents. Conduct closing, and prepare documents for recording. Transaction types include Low Income Housing Tax Credit Deals, State Housing Authority financing and bond offerings, Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) deals with the US Department of HUD in Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia, Michigan, and New York.

This candidate could also work out of our Nashville TN office.

This is an in-person role with the option of 2 days a week remote for our MD office or 1 day remote for our TN office.
