Job Description

  Dinsmore is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant at our Miami, FL location who will support multiple attorneys and/or paralegals in our commercial litigation practice group. Responsibilities   Filings, client management, billing, time entry, formatting, proofreading and editing of documents, travel arrangements, and other legal assistant functions. We seek candidates who are self-directed, high energy, and have advanced computer skills.   Requirements   Solid work history including 3-5 recent years providing legal administrative support Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff including attorneys, paralegals and other assistants throughout the Firm Intermediate to advanced-level use of Microsoft Office Suite, .pdf editing software, and related legal software Experience with E-filing (federal and state) Experience using timekeeping software and document management systems Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail Possess strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen ability to multi-task Proven success as a positive team player, as well as an independent worker Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment Prior exposure to litigation preferred Appellate exposure, a plus
