Perficient is current seeking a Legal Operations Manager / Risk & Compliance Paralegal to primarily support Perficient’s General Counsel and Senior Corporate Counsel – Data Privacy & Cybersecurity, located in St. Louis, Missouri.
This position will oversee the day-to-day operations of Perficient’s legal department and provide limited administrative assistance, ensuring efficiency and alignment with the firm's strategic goals. This includes managing legal vendors, implementing technology solutions, optimizing processes, collaborating with various business units to support the legal team in delivering high-quality legal services, and supporting Department efforts to improve productivity through the use of AI technology.
This position will also support the Senior Corporate Counsel with data privacy, cybersecurity, AI, data governance, environmental sustainability, and general risk and compliance activities. This includes day-to-day management of Perficient’s privacy and environmental sustainability programs, limited contract review in the area of data security and privacy, support for incident response team, general risk management activities, and limited records management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Assist with implementation of Department policies and procedures to enhance productivity and streamline operations.
Oversee Department budget, including tracking legal expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
General administrative support including but not limited to scheduling meetings, maintaining/updating Department internal SharePoint site.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends especially in the area of technology with data security and privacy impacts such as AI technology.
Assist Senior Corporate Counsel with the review and redline of security and privacy-related contracts to ensure compliance with relevant Perficient policies and applicable law.
Responsible for day to day to management of Perficient’s privacy program, including data subject access requests, privacy impact assessments, data processing registry, and other compliance related activities.
Assist with incident response activities related to data breaches and other security incidents.
Assist with other risk and compliance activities related to AI, data governance, and environmental sustainability.
Assist with administration of Department technology solutions, including the Department’s contract lifecycle management tool.
Coordinate legal training for department members, other corporate departments, business units, and delivery teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate strongly preferred. Candidates with an associate’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience will also be considered.
Experience using AI productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft CoPilot, ChatGPT) is required.
4+ years of experience in paralegal or legal operations required. In-house experience preferred.
2+ years of experience using Contract Lifecycle Management or similar SaaS workflow systems required.
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus.
A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected.
Possesses a strong understanding.
Must be located in St. Louis, Missouri.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 required.
Technology contract experience preferred.
Working knowledge of US and global data privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.) preferred.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $99,500.00 to $122,800.00.
