The Legal Talent Intern is responsible for support of various legal talent functions, initiatives, and projects within the Legal Career Coaching & Planning team, including research and data collection.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Search for in-house legal department and government job postings for associates who are considering alternative career opportunities
Use firm databases and LinkedIn to identify client, alumni and other contacts at companies with in-house legal department needs
Maintain and update Legal Career Coaching & Planning intranet site, including Job Bank
Interns will participate in department and team meetings, conference calls and training sessions. Through these experiences, Interns will gain valuable knowledge of legal talent management, business development practices and project management which can be applied across disciplines.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Sound business judgment and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and communication skills.
Data management/manipulation skills.
Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Highly motivated, persuasive, priority-driven, and collaborative.
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Current enrollment towards a Bachelor’s degree; any combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates ability to perform the essential duties of the position may be considered.
The intern would work during the fall semester on a part-time schedule.

Hiring Salary Range:
- $16 - $18
