Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estate Planning Paralegal to join our award-winning Private Client & Trusts practice. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting attorneys with sophisticated estate planning matters, including the preparation of wills, trusts, and related documents for high-net-worth individuals and families. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-centric environment and is eager to contribute to one of the most respected estate planning practices in the region.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Draft estate planning documents including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
  • Prepare and file documents related to trust funding and asset transfers.
  • Assist attorneys in the organization, administration, and maintenance of estate and trust planning files.
  • Conduct legal research and compile relevant estate and tax law updates.
  • Coordinate with financial advisors, CPAs, and clients to obtain necessary documentation and information.
  • Maintain accurate and timely tracking of deadlines and deliverables.
  • Prepare client-ready drafts and maintain version control across documentation.
  • Manage trust and estate administration matters, including preparing inventories, accounting, and probate court filings when required.
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion with client information.
