Minimum qualifications:
- JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
- 7 years of experience with legal, regulatory, and litigation matters, including addressing, minimizing and avoiding regulatory risk.
- Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with affirmative litigation, including through industry associations.
- Experience engaging with regulators, such as State Attorneys General, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Department of Justice (DoJ), and other content and media/consumer protection authorities.
- Experience coordinating across multi-jurisdictional regulatory and civil inquiries, driving consistent strategy and accuracy.
- Experience working with public company boards and their counsel, including special committees and audit committees.
- Familiarity with other regulators across the Americas, EMEA and APAC.

Responsibilities
- Lead responses to regulatory inquiries, investigations, litigation, enforcement actions, and overlapping civil matters.
- Oversee the collection and production of accurate information in external submissions and disclosures.
- Provide legal advice on incidents and government and regulatory audits and exams.
