About the Role

GLP Attorneys is seeking an experienced Information Technology (IT) Manager to join our team, based out of our Seattle Headquarters. This position requires a primarily in-office presence, with up to 25% travel to our nine additional offices across Washington. 

Requirements

The IT Manager will collaborate with our CFO to help support the firm’s technology operations, including IT infrastructure, license and fleet management, outsourced IT services, and vendor partnerships. This role ensures that all IT initiatives align with GLP Attorneys’ strategic goals and operational priorities.


The IT Manager will serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and external vendors. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, forward-thinking leader with a strong background in operations oversight, project execution, and vendor management. Candidates that have experience in professional services, particularly law firms will be given stronger consideration. 


In this position, you will:

  • Lead IT project planning and execution aligned with firm goals
  • Manage MSP relationships to ensure quality service delivery and cost efficiency
  • Maintain and monitor IT asset inventory, including hardware fleet and software licensing
  • Evaluate and implement technology solutions to enhance operational effectiveness
  • Support business continuity and system security
  • Travel up to 25% of the time across Washington office locations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role
  • Experience managing MSPs or outsourced IT services
  • Demonstrated success in IT operations, project management, and vendor negotiations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure systems (networks, servers, cloud services, security, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • High level of professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in legal, professional services, or similarly regulated industries
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, or similar compliance standards
  • PMP, ITIL, or similar certification
  • Experience with law firm practice management systems

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range (Seattle): $110,000 – $130,000 annually

GLP Attorneys determines the compensation for positions using local, national, and industry-specific data. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wages in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our firm. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Compensation will be based on the applicant's location, level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay. 


GLP Attorneys proudly offers a competitive total rewards package. In addition to the base rate, the firm provides employees with vision, dental, medical/rx insurance (with the option to open a health savings account), life insurance, a firm-sponsored employee assistance program, and a 401(k)-retirement plan with a discretionary safe harbor and profit-sharing feature. GLP Attorneys sponsors 100% of the employee premium for those enrolled on the HSA preferred medical plan ($3k deductible), 75% for the base plan ($1k deductible), and 75% for the buy-up plan ($750 deductible). The firm sponsors 25% of all medical dependent coverage. GLP Attorneys sponsors 75% of the employee premium for those enrolled on the vision plan and 25% for those enrolled on a dental plan. Employees are responsible for the premiums for dependent coverage on the vision and dental plans.
