
The University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law invites applications for a long-term contract professor to serve as associate director and teach in our Lawyering Program, the law school’s first-year legal analysis and writing program, beginning July 1, 2026. This is a non-tenure track long-term appointment filled as Law School Assistant Professor or Law School Associate Professor depending on the selected candidates’ qualifications. We seek candidates with demonstrated potential for outstanding teaching, original scholarship, and a sincere interest in becoming active members of our community.
All candidates must hold a J.D. from an American Bar Association approved law school prior to beginning employment.
