This position serves as a Supervisory IT Program Manager (INFOSEC/NETWORK), located in the Department of Justice, Chief Information Officer, Cybersecurity Services Staff, National Classified Systems Directorate in Washington, DC. The incumbent is responsible for providing applications, network, and information security services that provide secure, redundant, and stable IT systems in support of IT operations to enhance the capabilities of DOJ-OCIO in performing the mission.
DutiesThe duties and responsibilities for a IT Specialist (INFOSEC/SYSADMIN) GS-2210-14 generally include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manages the development of new systems operations with complex designs.
- Plans the execution of approved IT policies and programs.
- Coordinates the preparation of testing and implementation plans.
- Coordinates IT products and services to integrate them into OCIO operations.
- Manages the development of new network operations with complex designs.

To qualify for the position of IT Specialist (INFOSEC/SYSADMIN), at GS-2210-14, you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below.
Basic Qualifications (2210 series): Please refer to the OPM IT Management Series 2210 Qualification Standard for the specific experience requirements for the GS-12 and above positions.
AND
Specialized Experience: To qualify for the GS-14grade level, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable non-Federal experience. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing the following duties:
1. Develops and manages network and systems.
2. Detects, responds, and protects information, information systems, and networks from threats.
3. Plans and coordinates the implementation and execution of policies, programs and/or services related to the information technology systems.
