Proskauer is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the Labor & Employment Department. This posting is for ILR students at Cornell University only.



Responsibilities
  • Assist with active cases
  • Provide research
  • Write articles
  • Draft deposition or hearing testimony digests
  • Perform various paralegal duties
  • Shadow attorneys during appearances, meetings and negotiations


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in progress
  • Must be an ILR “Industrial and Labor Relations” major
  • Sophomore, Junior or Senior at Cornell University
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills
  • Must be a self-starter and work well independently
  • Ability to maintain an acceptable caseload, thrive in a team environment and interact with other employees
  • Must have good time management skills


This internship will run from June 9, 2025, through August 15, 2025.

This position will require physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require). The anticipated compensation for this position is $17.50 per hour. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
