Shernoff Bidart Echeverria LLP is looking for an experienced Associate Attorney for our Claremont office.

We are seeking an attorney who is interested in a long-term position who can grow with our firm. You must be able to take on an existing caseload.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- A valid license to practice law in California, in good standing with the Bar
- A juris doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Eight to ten years’ experience preferred
- Experience representing clients in all stages of pre-trial litigation, in both state and federal courts
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and correspondence
- Preparing for and attending hearings and depositions, including at times in person
- Be professional, courteous, and accommodating to clients, as well as staff and co-workers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Provide sound counsel and judgment
- Must have legal research experience (Westlaw/Lexis)
- Outstanding attention to detail and high level of organizational skills
- Exceptional legal writing skills
- Strong professional communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $150,000 salary, plus discretionary bonuses with a guaranteed minimum of $175,000
