Role Summary
Rowan Digital Infrastructure is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to support complex real estate transactions for hyperscale data center projects. The position will be part of the Legal team and will partner with business teams to drive deals to closing.
In this role, you will assist in all phases of real estate transactions with specific emphasis on due diligence review, title and survey review, document preparation and management, closing logistics, and general coordination and administration. You will be a key member of the deal team and must be comfortable collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and carry out creative solutions for resolving title and other issues. This is not a back-office role; to succeed, a candidate will need to exemplify ownership and be a trusted and valued partner to the business.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 5% for company gatherings.
Location: Denver, CO (hybrid in-office role)
Compensation: $90,000-$105,000K (Offers Bonus)
Essential Responsibilities
Perform and coordinate due diligence, including the review of title materials, surveys, reports, underlying documents, and other due diligence items as well as coordinate with diligence service providers
Coordinate and support the successful closing of real estate transactions, including preparing checklists, maintaining closing files, managing signature packages, closing logistics, delivery and preparation of all documents and deliverables, and post-closing integration and administration
Assist in the preparation and review of real estate documents
Reviewing agreements and preparing abstracts with respect to the same
Acting as a liaison between attorneys, business partners, title companies, surveyors, and other parties involved in complex deals
Managing and organizing files and documents, docketing, maintaining calendars, and tracking critical dates and deadlines
Education, Skills, and Experience
BA degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited program or equivalent
3+ years of experience as a paralegal within a real estate practice group or an in-house legal department
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively across departments and with outside counsel and service providers
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks
Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, title, and survey analysis
Technologically savvy, with proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, PDF creation tool(s), document management software, and Airtable
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
