As our caseload grows, we are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Records Specialist to join our team on-site at our Lilburn office.


Position Overview:
The Medical Records Specialist plays a key role in supporting our attorneys and case managers by managing the full process of obtaining medical records and bills for personal injury cases. This is a full-time, in-office position that requires strong organization, follow-through, and communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Request medical records and billing statements from healthcare providers
  • Follow up regularly to ensure timely receipt of requested documents
  • Maintain accurate logs of request statuses, provider communications, and costs
  • Review incoming records for completeness and accuracy
  • Organize and upload documents into case management software
  • Communicate professionally with providers, clients, and internal staff
  • Handle confidential health information in compliance with HIPAA



Qualifications:

  • No experience required; training will be provided
  • Experience in a legal, personal injury, or medical records role is a plus
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology is helpful but not required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
  • Comfortable working with technology and case management systems
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in an office setting
