Bemis, Roach & Reed is a dynamic, North Austin, Long Term Disability and Social Security Disability law firm looking for an employee with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an enthusiasm for helping others. Experience in disability law is preferred. Proficient in English and Spanish is a plus.

Duties will include:

• Screening calls and emails for potential new clients
• Extensive client contact via phone, email, text, etc
• Maintain relationships with the attorneys and senior legal staff
• Schedule appointments
• Input and maintain case information in a case management database
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent
• Reliable transportation, especially if requested to be early or stay late
• Must have good communication and people skills
• Must be a kind and compassionate person with the ability to empathize with others
• Superior customer service skills
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Attention to detail, problem-solving, and multitasking
• Ability to follow through and complete projects with anticipation of what needs to be done next
• Ability to maintain good rapport with clients and other professionals inside and outside the firm
• Ability to work effectively on multiple projects and deadlines
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Adobe
• Ability to learn and effectively utilize case management software and other forms of technology

Salary

• $17 - $18/hour
