Creative Content Manager

The Position

We're hiring a Creative Content Manager to take ownership of our visual brand, content execution, and contractor oversight. You'll lead the charge on graphic design, pitch materials, and social media-and you'll also own the video production pipeline, guiding our contractor and jumping in directly when needed.

This is a hands-on creative role with real influence. You won't just manage others-you'll build, shape, and execute.

What You'll Do

Video Production & Oversight

• Oversee and guide our external video editor to ensure high-quality podcast and social media clips
• Personally edit content when needed-must be fluent in short-form pacing, captions, and visual storytelling
• Set and enforce visual standards across all video assets
• Develop branded video elements (intros, transitions, lower thirds, etc.)

Design & Branding

• Own all Canva-based designs for social posts, blog graphics, newsletters, and videos
• Collaborate with leadership and our external marketing agency to develop branded pitch decks, one-pagers, and presentations
• Manage our Canva templates, brand kits, and design systems
• Ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints

Content Execution & Strategy

• Post and schedule content on LinkedIn, YouTube, and related platforms
• Track post-performance, engagement, and opportunities to re-engage or repurpose content
• Pitch ideas for new content: podcast topics, short-form clips, quote graphics, and beyond
• Work closely with leadership to develop a repeatable, scalable content system

Vendor Liaison

• Act as the primary point of contact for our external marketing agency
• Review and refine their materials (pitch decks, visual assets) to meet brand standards
• Ensure alignment between internal content strategy and vendor execution

What We're Looking For

• 3–5+ years of experience in video content creation, digital design, or creative marketing
• Proven hands-on experience editing video (CapCut, Descript, Veed.io, Canva Video, etc.)
• Mastery of Canva, including brand kits, animation, and layout design
• Strong instincts for branding, story flow, and visual polish
• Comfortable managing creative contractors and providing direction/feedback
• Highly organized, proactive, and execution-oriented
• Confident communicator who enjoys owning outcomes

Bonus Points If You Have

• Interest in legal, business, or financial content
• Experience developing brand guidelines or creative systems
• Familiarity with Mailchimp and/or HootSuite
• A portfolio that balances aesthetics with clarity and storytelling
