Aryaka is looking for a “can-do” professional to join its legal team. This position will have a hands-on role in all aspects of the legal team, with a primary focus on contracts management and legal operations. This position reports to directly to our General Counsel and will have visibility into other functions, including our HR team. This is a critical role that requires strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Job Duties:

  • Ability to dynamically draft and review key terms in NDAs, SOWs and Order Forms based on customer requirements and in line with business risk.
  • Cooperate with Sales Operations to maintain and improve Sales Operations and Deal Desk processes.
  • Maintain legal technology to streamline new or existing processes, including maintenance of legal intake system.
  • Aggregate metrics from various systems and accurately summarize legal team efforts in executive-level decks as needed.
  • Proactively address inefficiencies, eliminating processes or driving improvements in existing processes for the legal team.
  • Manage the legal team budget, including opening and closing POs with Finance, working with legal professionals to obtain data necessary for forecasting and accruals, and accurately processing invoices.
  • Primary administrator of the Company’s equity management system, with primary responsibility for running reports, uploading data, accurate recordkeeping and maintaining the Company’s capitalization table.
  • Single point of contact for all equity questions from employees worldwide.
  • Maintain compliance with worldwide equity laws and making equity-related compliance filings around the world.
 
Requirements: 
 
  • Attention to detail is an absolute must for this position.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Strong sense of accountability, integrity and taking ownership over projects and responsibilities and resolving issues proactively. 
  • “Learner’s mindset” – it is critical that this person is comfortable operating in the grey, using resources to find solutions to issues not yet encountered, or testing technology not yet used before (such as AI-based systems).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Has at least 2 years of experience with exposure to commercial sales processes and, ideally with equity management.
 
Nice to Have:
  • Experience in contract management as a member of an in-house legal team, preferably supporting a scaling sales organization at a fast-growing tech company.
  • Experience with stock administration and cap table management, including familiarity with equity compensation concepts such as options, RSUs, and other equity awards.

Compensation: Base salary up to $125,000 + Performance Based Bonus + Equity + Benefits
