About the Role:
Responsible for leading the contracts administration process. Primary responsibilities include processing contracts for signature, entering data into contract management system, creating workflow status reports, overseeing and leading the contract administration process, identifying issues with the contract management workflow and implementing solutions, and being the primary point of contract for any inquiries regarding the use of the contract management system. Works with legal department to ensure contracts are reviewed and fully executed in a timely manner. Supports the administration of contracts throughout the contract lifecycle (financial approval, contract execution, invoicing, tracking timelines, etc). Maintains strong working relationships with all levels within the organization._
Your Contributions:Oversees, manages, administers, and maintains the company’s contract management system
Oversees contract lifecycle management
Reviews and identifies standard contract terms for data entry into the contract management system
Ensures that contractual records entered into the Contract Management System are accurate and up to date
Identifies issues and implements corrective actions to ensure contracts are processed efficiently
Creates workflow status reports and other ad hoc reporting as may be required
Trains contract management system users both within and outside the legal department
Effectively documents and conducts work in a safe and professional manner in accordance with company and departmental guidelines
Performs other duties as assigned
BS/BA degree in science, finance or business in science, finance, or business and 6+ years of relevant experience with contracting in a biotech or pharmaceutical company; Experience with executing contracts including invoicing and tracking
Master’s degree in science, finance or business in science, finance, or business and 4+ years of related experience
Understands key business drivers and uses this understanding to accomplish work
Has strong understanding of processes, procedures and systems used to accomplish the work and recognizes downstream impact on other functional areas
Proficient with tools and processes that support work conducted by functional area
Ability to work as part of a team; may train lower levels
Excellent computer skills
Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking skills
Detail oriented yet can see broader picture for department
Ability to meet multiple deadlines, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
Strong project management skills
Must have strong organization skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Thorough knowledge of Contract Management Systems
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office

The hourly rate we reasonably expect to pay is $46.88-$67.99. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.- $46.88 - $67.99
