The primary purpose of this position is: Serves as the Director, Equal Opportunity (EO) and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), U.S Air Force District of Washington (AFDW). Duties Continued from Summary Section: The position serves as the Air Force's ONLY Direct Reporting Unit (DRU) Equal Opportunity Director to have full MAJCOM-level duties for a global population exceeding 33,000 members-but without the multiple wings afforded other MAJCOMs to help process the load. The position also maintains responsibility for EO and ADR related matters which the AFDW /CC exercises special and general court-martial convening authority, actions under Article 15, UCMJ, administrative actions and other authority over Air Force members assigned, attached, or on temporary duty with HAF, HQ Army, HQ Navy, HQ Marine Corps, Office of the Joint Chiefs, and the Office of Secretary of Defense. Duties: Program operations, technical guidance, and management advisory services. Serve as an action officer at the MAJCOM level with responsibility for the Equal Opportunity Complaints (MEO and EEO) and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) programs across AFDW serviced populations. Program Evaluation Exercises staff surveillance and technical guidance over assigned programs. Participates in special initiatives, studies, and projects. Represents the Command at conferences, working groups or meeting pertaining to assigned programs areas. Program Development. Salary- $121,785 - $158,322/year
