This position is an in-office/hybrid, full-time career position. The ideal candidate will have experience in the areas of 1) Construction Law; 2) Civil Litigation; and 3) State & Federal litigation. Candidates must have experience with construction law, civil litigation and State & Federal Litigation Law and Procedures, should be accomplished in drafting and client interaction as outlined further below.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
The perfect candidates are proactive, detailed-oriented, responsive team players with the ability to work well independently and maintain a high level of attention to all details and timeliness of deadlines.

Hours and Compensation
- Hours: 40 hours per week / Full-time
- Compensation: Compensation is $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year, including a flexible, hybrid schedule and paid time off.
Responsibilities
- Draft demand letters, opinion letters, construction demands, pleadings, discovery and motions, obtain documents and records from clients and state and local agencies.
- Conduct and defend depositions, represent the firm's clients in hearings and assist in trials.
- E-Filing.
- Calendaring deadlines, scheduling of hearings, depositions, etc.
- Meeting with new and current clients.
- Create and maintain electronic case files.
- Conduct legal research.
- Proactive communication with clients, attorneys, opposing counsels, judicial offices, etc.
- Bill time in an effective, efficient and timely manner.
- Be licensed and able to practice law in the State of Florida.
Software
- The firm uses Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and LEDES billing
- Candidate must have their own Microsoft office and Adobe programs
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in Construction Litigation and Federal and State Litigation in the State of Florida.
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Experience with e-filing in state and federal courts; familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and LEDES billing is a plus.
- Active participation in weekly meetings and readiness to tackle new challenges.
