
LITIGATION PARALEGAL
JOB DESCRIPTION: Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented litigation paralegal to join our team. This position is fast-paced and supports a team of attorneys performing litigation in State and Federal Courts. It will involve collaboration with other paralegals and attorneys in Denver, Colorado.
This position is full-time and in-person in the Denver Office.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
$28.00-$38.00/hr
Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
JOB DUTIES:
- Communicating regularly with clients.
- Reviewing and organizing client documents.
- Responsible for court filings, document management and review, propounding and responding to discovery, noticing depositions, and similar
- Management of electronically stored information, document management, and complex litigation document review including bates-stamping, scanning, coding, and searching.
- Drafting of privilege logs.
- Preparing deposition and trial exhibits
- Uploading and updating client information into a case management database.
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
- Staying up to date on rules of civil procedure and local rules in both State and Federal Courts, including those pertaining to CM/ECF filing on PACER.
- Arranging for service of pleadings and subpoenas.
- Identifying, tracking, and scheduling case-related deadlines in an electronic calendaring system.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidates must possess a paralegal certificate.
- Experience with working up cases from pre-litigation to post-judgment.
- Experience with case management software programs, including FileVine.
- Proficient in Adobe, Excel, Microsoft Office, and
- Familiar with E-Discovery and law programs such as Everlaw, Westlaw, Milana, Litera and others.
- A successful candidate will be detail oriented and organized, a team player, dedicated, reliable, and capable of multitasking and managing several time-critical projects under tight deadlines.
