Job Description

Eckert Seamans, a national, full-service AmLaw 200 firm, seeks a motivated Associate to join the Mass Tort Litigation team in our Newark, New Jersey office. The attorney hired for this position will work directly with partners and other associates on litigation matters in a fast-paced, active environment and directly communicate and interact with clients.

Qualifications:

  • At least five years of mass tort experience
  • Experience with asbestos will be strongly considered
  • Excellent academic credentials and strong drafting skills
  • Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Competence and desire to manage a variety of active matters independently
  • Court and deposition experience strongly preferred
  • New Jersey bar admission is required; preference will be given to those with admissions in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Delaware, New York, or Pennsylvania
