Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and equitable distribution.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, from case initiation through trial, including discovery, motions, mediation, and court appearances.
• Provide legal counsel and advocacy tailored to each client’s needs and objectives.
• Maintain clear communication and a strong attorney-client relationship.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, agreements, and court filings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Attorney in North Carolina or ability to obtain
• At least 1 year of experience in family law litigation is required.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and client advocacy skills.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication abilities.
• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and work both independently and as part of a team.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: Base plus commission, with earning potential ranging from $70,000 - $140,000 per year (dependent on experience).
