HireNow Staffing is supporting a top-ranked litigation firm in its search for senior- and partner-level attorneys to join its expanding employment law practice. These roles offer the chance to lead significant matters ranging from school district defense to high-stakes PAGA litigation all while enjoying a hybrid work model designed for long-term sustainability. Current Openings We are actively seeking candidates for the following roles: Senior Employment Law Attorney Focus: Public sector employment litigation, school districts, and education law
Salary Range: $200,000 - $220,000+ Employment Law Partner Focus: Class action and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) defense
Salary Range: $230,000 - $300,000+ Key Practice Areas & Responsibilities ️ Litigation Strategy & Case Management
- Represent clients in employment-related disputes, including wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, and wage/hour matters.
- Handle state and federal claims, including matters before regulatory agencies (EEOC, DFEH, DLSE).
- Direct all phases of litigation-discovery, motion practice, negotiations, and trial preparation.
- Lead defense in high-exposure PAGA and class action claims (Partner-level only).
- Advise school district leadership on employment law compliance, union relations, and contract strategy.
- Draft and review policies related to tenure, discipline, and Title IX, ensuring regulatory alignment.
- Deliver customized legal training for administrators and HR leaders.
- Conduct compliance audits and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate future legal exposure.
- Stay ahead of evolving employment legislation and provide timely guidance to clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across industries.
- Mentor junior attorneys and support their development through feedback and training.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including client presentations and legal workshops.
Active California Bar membership (in good standing)
5+ years of relevant employment litigation experience (Senior)
8-10+ years with strong PAGA/class action experience (Partner)
Public entity or school district litigation experience preferred
Trial experience is a plus but not required
Ability to manage complex caseloads with minimal supervision
