Job Description
Security programs are essential to the accomplishment of the mission and goals of United States Attorneys' Offices (USAOs). EOUSA provides security program support for USAOs by supplying policy and procedural assistance for the implementation and conduct of all aspects of security programs in accordance with applicable statutes, Executive Orders and Departmental Orders, to ensure regulatory requirements and the unique needs of each office are met.
Duties If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for planning, developing, providing, controlling, and evaluating the Department of Justice program for continuing legal training and education for both attorneys and support staff in the United States Attorney's Offices (USAOs), Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys and the Office of the U.S. Attorneys (EOUSA), and other components of the Department of Justice. Typical work assignments will include: Assists in developing data systems as necessary to respond to management information requirements. Ensures sensitive investigative data is handled in a secure and controlled manner to protect the interests of DOJ and safeguard the rights of the individual. Provides personnel security guidance and assistance to managerial and administrative personnel in EOUSA. Evaluates all investigations for compliance with regulatory requirements for scope, i.e., extent and components, as well as the adequacy and completeness of the material presented for purposes of evaluation. Conducts Adjudicative assessments involving cases exhibiting more complicated or serious issues by evaluating information from a variety of sources and reports. Salary- $70,623 - $111,087/year
