Job Description

Responsibilities

Scope

  • Opportunity to work on projects involving commercial agreements, human resource issues, ethics and compliance issues, advertising and promotional issues, and other legal matters in support of CooperSurgical’s commercial and operations organizations.
  • Pre-implementation support for new Contract Lifecycle Management system which will involve collaboration with multiple departments and key stake holders.
  • Research legal issues relevant to commercial and operational organizations
  • Support for litigation matters, including those in state and federal courts and with administrative agencies (EEOC, Division of Human Rights).


Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Intermediate skill in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Advanced preferred.
  • Well organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently.
  • Excellent project management, organizational and follow-through skill set.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional demeanor.

Experience

· Not required, but prior Internship experience is a plus.

Education

  • Currently attending an accredited law school.
  • Completed at least first year of law school. Prefer candidate who has completed at least one semester of Contract law.
