Job Summary/General Purpose of Job The Accreditation Research Associate provides substantial assistance to the Accreditation Project. The position is responsible for substantive programmatic support of the Accreditation Project that includes: conducting research; drafting, reviewing, and editing documents; and analyzing data and planning, as needed. The position may also be responsible for implementation and coordination of projects that may vary from year to year. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent) Implements and coordinates projects, including researching, organizing and preparing documents and materials for the Accreditation Project. Drafts, reviews, and edits documents. Regularly interacts with staff members; may communicate with internal and external partners to provide support for joint projects. Provides input and analysis to support member leaders and management on strategies and procedures. Consider and recommend changes as necessary to improve Accreditation Project processes. Performs other related duties as required. Required Education, Qualifications, Experience Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university (or equivalent experience). A four year college degree, or equivalent work experience is required (Equivalent experience would include at least 3 years working in an environment that requires high level customer service, writing and/or editing). The person holding this position should be proficient in Microsoft Office Software and Desktop Publishing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Preferred Education, Qualifications, Experience Some JD coursework completed. Physical Requirements Typical office work environment. Extent of Travel Required in the Job Travel is not required.
