Patent Litigation & Intellectual Property Associate - 1791613

Dallas office of national law firm seeking lateral attorney candidates with three to six years of patent litigation experience (classes of 2017-2020) to join its Intellectual Property group. Candidates should have strong legal and academic backgrounds. USPTO admission and an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering (or substantial experience litigating matters in similar disciplines) is strongly preferred. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions and other legal documents; drafting and responding to discovery requests; arguing motions; communicating and negotiating with opposing counsel; taking and defending depositions; preparing for and appearing at trial; preparing infringement and invalidity claim charts. Candidates will work directly with partners on all aspects of cases and must be admitted to practice in Texas. Compensation range is $240,000-$275,000 (plus generous performance bonuses), depending on experience.
