Duties If selected, you will serve as a Budget Analyst in the United States Attorney's Office (USAO) for the Western District of Washington. At the full performance level, you will perform a wide range of administrative and analytical duties for administering the district's financial management program that includes budgeting, internal controls, accounting, and financial reporting. Typical work assignments will include: Providing technical guidance, advice and assistance to the United States Attorney, Administrative Officer, and Budget Officer in the identification of future resource requirements, and in the planning and development of future budget requirements; Ensuring program funding requirements are prioritized, and that funds are efficiently distributed to support missions, objectives, and goals; Compiling narrative and statistical material and preparing related background information; Preparing statistical information reports for use in analyzing attorney pay, awards, overtime usage, funds availability, and for use in Full-Time-Equivalent (FTE) tracking, U.S. Attorney pay analysis, and clean audit reviews; Verifying that obligations and expenditures occur on a timely basis in accordance with regulatory controls and within the amounts programmed; and Managing the travel charge card program to establish and cancel accounts, and reviewing oversight reports to ensure proper program execution. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress. Salary- $83,104 - $108,029/year
