Project Manager – Professional Services Contracts
Founded in 2002, Centre Law and Consulting (www.centrelawgroup.com) is both a law firm representing federal government contractors and a company that also provides professional services to the federal government. Our innovative approach as both a law firm and a federal contractor has put us at the forefront of the industry for over 20 years.
Centre Law & Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage our professional services contracts with the federal government. Those contracts are primarily for legal services with the various offices of general counsel. For those with student loans, we may be able to assist with those.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience managing professional services.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
Strong preference will be given to candidates with a Law Degree.
Over the course of a project, the Project Manager will need to communicate with staff and clients, make decisions and monitor the progress of the project to keep it on schedule. Important responsibilities for a Project Manager include:
- Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
- Managing multiple task orders in multiple locations
- Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
- Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
- Serving as a point of contact for the government and employees working on various federal contracts
- Communicating with executives to keep the project aligned with their goals
- Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
- Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change
- Obtaining and maintaining excellent past performance

Additional Requirements:
Candidate will be required to go through the Background Investigation.
Currently, our team is working in a hybrid environment working two days remote and requiring three days in our Tysons office.
