Compensation:
Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $100,000 to $140,000, commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this pivotal role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal counsel and representation in all areas of Family Law, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and domestic violence cases.
  • Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, from initial consultation through case resolution, ensuring timely and effective legal solutions.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, settlement agreements, and court pleadings.
  • Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel and participate in mediation and arbitration sessions to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
  • Stay current on legal developments and changes in family law legislation, particularly in New Jersey, to provide informed legal advice.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners, such as mediators and forensic experts, to ensure comprehensive case strategy.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and support staff, contributing to the firm’s growth and development.
  • Maintain a high level of client communication, keeping clients informed of case progress and any developments.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar Admission: Must be admitted to the New Jersey Bar and have experience in New Jersey courts.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Family Law experience in New Jersey. Experience in New York Family Law is a plus but not required.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills are essential.
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload with efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively represent clients and work within a team.
  • Demonstrated experience in family law litigation and settlement negotiations.
  • Ability to work independently and handle complex legal issues with minimal supervision.
