Role Overview
We are seeking a Bilingual Paralegal with a passion for helping clients navigate complex legal challenges. This person will play a key role in case management, client communication, and general support for attorneys, primarily in personal injury and employment law matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable interfacing with clients in both Spanish and English.
Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Assist attorneys in managing personal injury and employment law cases from intake to resolution.
  • Document Preparation: Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to court requirements.
  • Client Support: Communicate with clients (in both Spanish and English) to gather information, provide updates, and address any concerns.
  • Research & Investigation: Conduct legal research, gather and review case evidence, and maintain organized case files.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Arrange appointments, depositions, hearings, and other key case-related events.
  • Administrative Duties: Organize and maintain electronic and physical files, track deadlines, and ensure proper record-keeping.
Qualifications
  • Language Skills: Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and verbal).
  • Experience: 2+ years of paralegal experience, ideally within personal injury or employment law.
  • Education: Paralegal certificate or equivalent coursework/degree preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal case management software, and online research tools.
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Ethic: A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, who thrives in a collaborative and client-focused setting.
