BBK is seeking an experienced and highly motivated attorney with a minimum of eight (8) years of legal experience to join our growing practice, with a focus on municipal law, real estate, and housing-related matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation advising public clients on municipal governance, regulatory compliance, land use, zoning, and public policy issues, as well as significant experience handling complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development. This role also involves counseling clients on housing law matters, including affordable housing and related regulatory frameworks. Candidates must demonstrate excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, along with the ability to manage matters independently and efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships. A portable book of business is strongly preferred, as is an entrepreneurial mindset and an interest in contributing to the continued growth of the practice. This position is based in our Houston office and candidates must be licensed to practice in Texas.

The reasonably expected pay scale for this position seeking an attorney with 8 or more years of experience is $185,000 - $200,000. The actual salary within that range will depend on the selected candidate’s years of practice and experience.  We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
