POSITION SUMMARY


First Review of Applications on March 13, 2026

Expected Hiring Range for Court Clerk I:  $41,225 - $46,378
Expected Hiring Range for Court Clerk II:  $45,451 - $51,132

Starting Salary Depending on Experience and Qualifications

We currently have one Court Clerk position open.  Based on experience and qualifications applicants will be slotted into one of the positions in this class series.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


Court Clerk I:

  • A High School diploma or GED.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in an office or business setting.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • One (1) year experience in a judicial or legal setting.

Court Clerk II:

  • A High School diploma or GED.
  • One (1) year of experience in a judicial or legal setting.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in an office or business setting.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications: 
 
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Experience working with AJACS is preferred.

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS AND WORKING CONDITIONS


  • Work is performed in an indoor environment.
  • Must be able to lift or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Regular, daily attendance is an essential function for this position.
