Job Description
What you will be doing: Manage an individual case load under the supervision of a senior attorney. Conduct research, motion writing, and attend court appearances. Travel to outlying courts as required. Assist in managing and overseeing Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy cases, including preparation and filing of necessary legal documents. Represent clients in bankruptcy court proceedings and hearings. Collaborate with support staff to ensure accurate and timely case management. Stay informed about changes in bankruptcy laws and regulations. Experience you will need: Actively seeking an Associate Attorney with 0-1 years of experience and a Bankruptcy Attorney with at least 3 years of experience, ideally with a background in creditors' rights. Experience handling Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcies, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Ohio Bar admission is required. Strong understanding of Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy laws and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
