WE ARE LOOKING FOR A DIRECTOR IT – CORPORATE FUNCTIONS (HR, LEGAL, AND BUSINESS COMMS & SUSTAINABILITY)

LOCATION: Winstom-Salem

 

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

 

Reports to: Senior Director IDT – Corporate & GBS

Number of Direct Reports: 3

Core Relationships: Internal – Business Partners in HR, LEX, BC&S

   External – Global Peers in IDT Corporate & GBS; Third-Party support teams, system integrators, and software vendors

Geographic Scope:  Global

Travel Required: N/A

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Aligns with the HR, LEX and BC&S organizations on our overall technology strategy to support digital transformation including delivery of technology projects.
  • Assist defining for the US and aligning globally on the overall digital strategy required to achieve our digital transformation vision in HR, LEX & BC&S areas.
  • Engages with HR, LEX and BC&S business units to optimize IT service delivery and to fully demonstrate IT capabilities and provide strategic advice and business partnering through thought leadership to meet business outcomes whibringing to bearing automation, analytics, and innovation in technology space as key enablers.
  • Maintain close alignment with the peers in global IDT Corporate and BC&S team in UK and to influence key partners in US for adoption of global technologies.
  • Collaborates with HR, LEX and BC&S business units, vendors, and IDT staff to handle and streamline processes including finding opportunities for automation to drive simplification and cost reduction and leverages internal and external networks of peers and cross-functional relationships at all levels of the organization to drive strategy and then influence and manaleadnge.
  • Serves as program manager for large, critical initiatives ensuring delivery of argument objectives and promotes learning and development of direct reports demonstrating leadership and providing mentorship. 
  • Ensures the Company vision, performance objectives and ethos are supported and encourages others to act in the best interest of the company and maintains awareness of sophisticated emerging technologies and communicates value/impact for the enterprise and adopting standard methodologies from the industry.
  • Manage a team accountable for delivery on all HR, LEX and BC&S projects and Business as Usual support, including the enterprise OpenText and SharePoint platforms.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Confirmed experience in project management, leadership of others, application of technology, operational business processes and vendor performance management (10 years’ experience preferred).
  • Strong working relationships with software vendors and digital partners
  • Strong communicator and able to clearly articulate value of digital solutions to non-technical colleagues
  • Experience in digital transformation and proven Project Management expertise delivering business benefits on time, within scope and within budget
  • Awareness of established and new technologies and strong strategic, financial, analytical and creative thinking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills working with clients, vendors, and project team members and good client facing and internal communication skills both verbal and written
  • Bachelor’s degree in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field of study and or business experience.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or other related field preferred.

 

BENEFICIAL

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Experience in SAP SuccessFactors suite including Employee Central Payroll.
  • Awareness of web and API technologies including AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience in FDA validated system support.
  • Proficient in Information Security standards and effective strategies.
  • Experience in Vendor Performance Management.
  • Experience in the definition and delivery of big data business analytics.
