We are working with Frost Brown Todd, an Am Law 130 firm, to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager to serve as a primary liaison to the Finance Industry team, which focuses primarily on Commercial Real Estate Finance, Multifamily Housing, Regional and Community Banks, and Retail and Shopping Centers. Working closely with industry team and practice group leaders, the Senior Manager will develop, lead, and execute business development initiatives that drive revenue and advance the group’s overall objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic & Operational Support: Serve as a trusted advisor to the Finance Industry team, developing and executing business development strategies and providing day-to-day support and strategic guidance that advance business development goals and firm priorities.
  • Client Development: Manage key client teams and partner with Client Relationship Leaders (CRLs) to expand client relationships. Set clear goals, milestones, and performance measures to track progress.
  • Project Management: Lead the creation and coordination of RFPs, pitches, and presentations, ensuring alignment with client needs and firm capabilities. Collaborate closely with the events team to execute high-impact client events and strategic sponsorships.
  • Market & Client Intelligence: Leverage technology, market insights, and data to drive efficiency, strengthen strategy, measure ROI, and differentiate service offerings.
  • Collaboration & Integration: Work cross-functionally with practice groups, industry teams, Marketing, Finance, Data & Innovation, Information Technology, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging, Pricing, Project Management and Legal Talent to support BD initiatives and firm-wide integration

Credentials and Expertise:

  • Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years of marketing, business development, or other relevant B2B experience. Experience in financial services, commercial real estate or multifamily industries preferred.
  • Capabilities: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative team player who is proactive, resourceful, and creative.
