- JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in attorney-level in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
- Experience with data center or network infrastructure.
- Admitted to the bar or authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements for the build, procurement and operation of technical infrastructure related projects.
- Experience with data centers, colocation, dark fiber, submarine cable, energy and related technical infrastructure agreements.
- Excellent people skills with the ability to work with others.
- Experience in advising on telecommunications regulations and US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) licensing process.
- Ability to manage and execute projects under deadline.
- Ability to work on matters.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $210,000-$312,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements supporting Google’s technical infrastructure procurement and operation. This includes agreements for network and capacity acquisition, submarine cable projects, data center operations, renewable energy and water procurement.
- Advice on projects and business initiatives to facilitate infrastructure and energy projects.
- Respond to legal requests from supervising lawyers, program managers, negotiators, and executives.
- Coordinate across internal legal teams on a variety of matters related to technical infrastructure agreements and projects.
