We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Class Action Attorney with expertise in consumer class action litigation, particularly in cases involving false advertising, fraudulent claims, and deceptive business practices. This is a high-impact role for an attorney who thrives in complex, large-scale litigation and is driven to secure multimillion-dollar settlements and precedent-setting verdicts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large-scale consumer class action cases, from initial investigation to trial.
- Develop cutting-edge legal strategies to challenge fraudulent business practices and deceptive advertising.
- Identify, underwrite, and initiate high-value class action lawsuits with strong factual and legal foundations.
- Draft compelling complaints, motions, and settlement agreements to maximize outcomes for the class.
- Handle class certification processes, including preparing key plaintiffs and coordinating with notification teams.
- Negotiate multimillion-dollar settlements, balancing aggressive litigation with strategic resolution tactics.
- Collaborate with co-counsel and consumer advocacy groups to strengthen legal actions.
- Stay ahead of consumer protection trends, regulatory changes, and emerging class action opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in consumer class action litigation.
- Proven track record handling cases involving false advertising, fraudulent claims, and deceptive business practices.
- Strong knowledge of consumer protection laws, including the UCL, CLRA, FDCPA, and TCPA.
- Deep understanding of class action procedures, including notice requirements, settlement structures, and trial strategy.
- Exceptional litigation, negotiation, and legal writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple class action cases while maintaining high-impact case strategies.
Bonus Qualifications
- ABOTA membership highly preferred.
- Experience with PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) litigation is a strong plus.
- Background in federal class actions under the FTC Act and Lanham Act.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
