Legal Intern- MNRK (Nashville)

MNRK Music Group is looking for a Fall Legal Intern to assist the Business Affairs department in the Nashville office. As a Legal Intern, you should have excellent attention to detail and a desire to learn about entertainment law.  

What You Will Be Doing:   

• Shadowing attorneys in their daily practice related to business processes and negotiating artist agreements.
• Reviewing and processing artist recording agreements. 
• Assisting MNRK’s Royalty team with contract data entry and analysis.
• Drafting deal memoranda related to new artist agreements.
• Reviewing copyright infringement claims and researching MNRK’s rights to the allegedly infringing work.
• Presenting your findings to MNRK attorneys to assist in the defense of DMCA claims.

   
What Makes You Qualified:   

• Completed at least one year of law school curriculum at an ABA accredited law school.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of copyright law.
• Problem solving capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail. 
• Strong writing skills and an ability to draft legal documents.
