Role Overview: As our In-House Counsel, you will provide comprehensive legal support on corporate governance, compliance, commercial transactions, M&A, risk management, and more. You will work closely with our Chief Operating Officer to navigate legal risks and manage litigation effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on legal risks, compliance, and corporate governance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts.
- Manage litigation and coordinate with outside counsel.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement corporate policies.
- Provide legal training and support to employees.
What We’re Looking For:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance and contract law.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
