Human Resources Director (On-Site - Irvine)

We seek a Human Resources Director who will be critical in collaborating on shaping our human resources strategy and enhancing employee engagement. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment. You will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer and the position is based in our Los Angeles office.

The Opportunity    

  • Strategic Leadership: Alongside our CHRO, develop and execute HR strategies that align with organizational goals, particularly focused on improving retention and employee satisfaction.
  • Employee Engagement: Design and implement initiatives to boost morale, engagement, and organizational culture.
  • Performance Management: Oversee performance appraisal systems that promote continuous feedback and development.
  • Compliance & Policies: Ensure all HR practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations; update policies as necessary to foster a fair and equitable workplace.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize analytics to assess trends and develop actionable strategies for improvement.

Your Experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​At least five years of human resource experience in upper management required.
  • Prior experience in legal environment or law firm is highly preferable.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and very organized.
  • Superb time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to act with integrity and professionalism, while exercising discretion.
  • Advanced understanding of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS.
  • SHRM-CP a strong plus.
  • Reliably commute to or planning to relocate to Los Angeles, CA.
  • Up to 20% travel required within California.
