Our growing personal injury law firm is seeking an Attorney Manager to lead and inspire a team of attorneys while driving operational excellence.

As an Attorney Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the performance and development of your attorney team. You will provide guidance, foster a positive culture, and ensure that team members meet key performance indicators. Reporting to the Manager of Legal Operations, you will also help operationalize strategic initiatives and contribute to the firm’s long-term success.Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Leadership
  • Create and sustain a positive, problem-solving culture within your team.
  • Assign, prioritize, and manage workflows to ensure efficient and effective case handling.
  • Guide attorneys in client communication, case preparation, negotiation, and trial readiness.
  • Collaborate with other departments to foster teamwork and resolve conflicts.
  • Ensure compliance with all ethical, legal, and firm-specific standards.
  • Manages small client caseload, participates in client intake as needed. 
Weekly Engagement
  • Conduct 1:1 meetings to provide feedback, coaching, and training tailored to individual team members.
  • Review team performance and progress on moving cases through stages.
  • Audit attorney files to identify training needs and address inefficiencies.
  • Participate in leadership meetings to align with company-wide goals.
Monthly & Yearly Responsibilities
  • Assist with personnel decisions, including hiring, promotions, and performance reviews.
  • Develop and implement performance and succession plans to support business objectives.
  • Participate in budget planning and expense monitoring for the legal department.
  • Represent the firm at events and conferences, strengthening professional networks and the firm's reputation.
What We’re Looking For

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Skills:

  • Strong coaching, training, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to hold team members accountable while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of legal practice experience, with at least 3 years managing employees.
  • Experience in personal injury law is a plus.
