With a 32-year legacy of excellence, known for its deliberately different model. The firm does not track origination; all clients are the firm's clients. All attorneys have a voice and vote on firm matters. The firm has a culture that prizes teamwork over hierarchy.
This high-impact leadership role offers the opportunity to work closely with the firm’s various governance committees and functional leaders to align strategy, strengthen operations, and preserve the cultural hallmarks that define its success. The Executive Director will help steward the firm’s continued evolution—ensuring operational excellence while honoring a model built on trust, inclusion, and shared purpose.
Select, but key, responsibilities include:
Collaborative Leadership: Guide operations through influence, not authority. Build trust across the firm by listening, advising, and implementing improvements that reflect shared priorities.
Operational Excellence with Cultural Sensitivity: Introduce clarity and structure while respecting the firm’s people-first, consensus-driven model. Ensure change is adaptive, not imposed.
Strategic Execution: Translate vision into action. Drive improvements in workflows, finance, internal communications, and technology adoption.
Ideal Candidates will possess:
- Proven experience leading operations in a professional services setting; legal sector preferred.
- A strong proficiency of strategy, finance, and partnership governance.
- Successful experience building trust across attorneys and staff through emotional intelligence and influence.
- Experience with systems implementation, vendor management, and operational modernization.
