Work model:- On-Site
- 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Monday - Friday
- Advocate for injured employees in legal proceedings against the company or insurance provider
- Secure settlements on behalf of clients
- Guide clients through the appeals process, keeping them informed and managing their expectations
- Prepare and organize briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents
- Submit legal documents electronically (e-file)
- Handle multiple projects and clients simultaneously
- Undertake administrative project tasks as needed
- Oversee the medical records process: request, review, index, and summarize
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the Iowa Bar
- 3+ years of experience as an attorney, including 1 year within workers compensation or personal injury
- Ability to travel to court and other locations for client meetings
- Strong commitment to high-quality legal work
